Little Sicily is our favorite pizza place in King of Prussia. When we first moved to KOP, we lived near the mall. There are really no good pizza places in the industrial area of KOP- your selection is very chainy- like California Pizza Kitchen or Peace of pizza. We wanted a local pizza shop- the "chef/owner" kind and we were fortunate to have found Little Sicily in Bridgeport- just a few minutes down the road. We've had most everything on the menu, and never had a bad meal!!! The pizza is delish!

We live close and have dined here at least dozen times over the years. Food is fair. Some people we know love it. I honestly don't understand why but the food is eatable so we go with others when asked. They sell water ice and kids enjoy walking up and buying it as a treat. They do a huge delivery business to local businesses. I would image that is big reason they have been there for a long time. While we are on that topic the delivery drivers need to SLOW down when they drive. They can be very reckless. Wait staff is ALWAYS very nice. So if you are looking for ok/fair Italian food this is your place. BYOB too.

My local go-to for delivery. Pizza is always hot, fresh, and tasty. Good cheesesteaks. Fries are mediocre. Delivery is always very fast. Staff is friendly.

Usually order every couple weeks, mostly because we're able to get something everyone will love. They make a good pizza but even better Italian entrees. My fav is the eggplant parm or pineapple pizza. Good food, good service, and overall love little sicilies!

Stopped by on a whim and got chicken cheesesteak wit.Not dry and chopped nicely and melded nicely with the onions. Definitely will explore the rest of the menu!

Lived in Bridgeport for 2.5 years now ordered here a few times but prefer Dinos now because they have better customer service then here. Very disappointing. Called to order a buffalo chicken wrap love ordering that from there when we do order from you, but I called and gave my number and it came up under someone else's name which I understood because I have changed my number recently but when I asked if they could update it and put the correct name in it the girl taking my order told me they can't do that, that I have to just tell them every time I called in that it's under that persons name which I thought was wrong. As I was ordering dinner for myself and family some of the stuff they wanted she said wasn't available that I had to pick a new thing so I asked for a couple new menus since mine were apparently out of date. She then told me I can't do that we have no menus to give out to people. So when I came into to pick up my food 20 minutes later a different girl helped me but she was much better and she was willing to update the system and correct the name which I am thankful for but the girl who took my order was standing and the counter taking to a guy I guess she knew and when I told the other girl about name situation the girl talking to the guy kept making comments. Which made me uncomfortable because no one was she being rude and made smart comments about me but then the guy was joining in on the commenting and staring at me. Food was amazing but some of the service sucks majorly I can guarantee I most likely never come back here unless I'm dying for a buffalo wrap because no one else can make it the way you do. I'll stick to Dinos which is around the corner from my house and has way better customer service.

I ordered a half bacon half spinach pizza, no frills. It was edible, but the spinach side was missing cheese in sections and the spinach was in massive, unseasoned gobs. It looked like the cook took a fistful of a thawed out frozen block of spinach, closed his eyes, and hurled it at the pizza. It wasn't hot when it arrived, more lukewarm than anything. I gave it two stars because despite being a not very great pizza, it was still a combination of sauce, bread and cheese, which carries itself even when the service is sloppy. I will credit them for a timely delivery and friendly delivery guy. I won't be ordering from here again.

I am 0 for 2 ordering Italian for delivery in King of Prussia. Ordered a meal for delivery, food was cold and average at best. Was told wait would be 30-40 minutes which was the case. Food felt like it sat for that long because everything was cold. Chicken Parm with Pasta - chicken was bland and stuck to the bottom of the pan. Pasta was ok, there was a little bit of sauce over both so the whole thing was dry. Since it was cold the cheese melted on the chicken was like a block. Got an order of the hot chicken wings. Had an interesting flavor but since they were cold couldn't really tell how good they might have been. Would not order from them again

for literally 10 years, we have ordered little sicily, or as my kids call it, "pizza man," for delivery every friday night. The pizza is always at least good, usually great, even after delivery....well cooked toothsome crust, good sauce, high quality cheese, cooked like they mean it, not just barely done. Sandwiches always great too. Literally never ordered something we didn't like from this place. And friendly people too. Nice.

I just ordered from here and the delivery driver had cell phone issues. I called the location and the manager proceeded to scream and cuss at me within seconds of me explaining what happened. I have been eating here for 5 years and let me say, the best food was in 2011.

  • Jeff E.

I've been there a few times and ordered as part of our group, its been so-so. Today I glommed a cheesesteak supremo with no sauce and it was the best cheesesteak I've ever had. A department had it catered and it was delicious!

  • Frank T.

Absolutely love this place. The soups are incredible. Decent wings. The regular pie is pretty good, and I'm a New Yorker! The sicilian is hit or miss. Some days it's very good, but we have had a couple of times where it just missed the mark. But, regardless, I'll always come back for the soup.

In what world, especially near Philly, does ordering a small hoagie mean lunch meat on a kaiser roll? Only here, at Little Sicily. And to boot, when I called to express my disappointment, the woman who answered immediately engaged in an argument with me, telling me to read the menu. In Philly, a hoagie is standard. i should never have to reference a menu to order one. I will not tolerate poor customer service. We order out a lot, but never again from them b/c of the woman answering the phone. And for the record- do not try to call lunch meat on a kaiser a freaking hoagie, especially in Philly suburb.

  • Erin M.

This place is alright. The only pizza worth buying is the Sicilian style. The other style is okay and nothing to brag. Getting food from here is always okay and not too bad. Overall this place is nothing special and only good for its convenience.

  • Zeke T.

The only reason I say 4 stars is because of the cheesesteaks. They are fantastic here. I have not had anything else because when I decide to go here, I just can't say no to the pizza steak. So 4 stars based solely off the cheesesteaks!

  • Ethan W.

What a joke! After we ordered some food, I called to tell them that the calzone was burned. Rather than treat us like paying clients, and offer an apology, they yelled at at us and hung up on us 3 times! DO NOT EAT HERE if you have any self-respect or care about the quality of your food!

    (1)
  • May T.

The pizzas and strombolis are fantastic. If you love melted cheese as much as I do, do yourself a favor and get a slice or two from here. I also really enjoyed their fries- the last few times I had them they were the ones that were extra crispy on the outside and potatoe-y on the inside. Layer on some cheese with that and what do you have? Heartattack goodness, also known as nomnomnom. The inside of the place is small but the service is usually good.

  • Danan R.

Oh my gosh, how I miss this place! Yes, it's greasy takeout food but it's delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my oversized chicken cheese teak with provolone and spinach and touch of alfredo sauce. What can I say? I felt like being creative and they executed the concept very well. Coming here really brought back memories of middle school and watching Scream and She's All That while gorging ourselves on pizza and fries.

Nothing special about Little Sicily. Just very boring blan food. There is much better pizza in the area. The pasta dishes are tasteless and obviously just canned sauce. I think the main reason people go here is because it is cheap. Just another boring pizza place!

  • Elliot P.

I have been going here all my life. The pizza is good, steaks are delicious, and the staff are very friendly. The pizza was inconsistent for awhile, but it seemed to have gotten back on track. I really like the guy who wears the plaid pants in the kitchen. He seems a little slow, but I'm cheering for you buddy. You do a great job.

Little Sicily offers a full menu of Italian specialties, including veal parmesan and strombolis. I decided to stop in since the place was recommended to me. I arrived around noon, and was a little surprised to see they had a dining room. It was pretty full when I stopped by to place an order for a cheesesteak. It took six minutes for it to be made. (I've dined here twice, had good service, each time having a slice of pineapple and italian sweet sausage pizza for the bargain price of $2.55; that's $1.75/slice, .40/topping.) Decided to have a garlic bread cheesesteak with onions, mushrooms, and sliced hot peppers ($7). It tasted great, with shredded meat and a deliciously semi-crunchy, garlic-soaked bun. It was sliced in half for my convenience. Thank goodness, since it was HUGE! Note to self: order half a steak next time (oh, there will be a next time).

I have been coming here since I was a kid and even though I live in Northern New Jersey it's always worth the trip when visiting family. I've had cheesesteaks all over creation and Little Sicily has hands down the best. The meat is great and they use Amorosos rolls, which can't be beat. The pizza is also awesome. It's not New York City pizza, but it's a great slice.

  • Jacob H.

I ordered this for lunch since it had good reviews. The food order was correct and they were friendly, but the food was just awful. I got the Little Sicily Supreme and although it was big the bread was soggy. I'm not a big fan of soggy bread so they need to do something about this for delivery. i also ordered crab fries and they were extremely salty. I think I only ate like a few fries before tossing it. I think for the people that actually go to the restaurant the experience is good, but recommend staying away from delivery. There is also a $1.50 delivery charge that I don't remember seeing anywhere on the menu.

  • Steve J.

BORING This food here is just BLAH. Nothing makes it stand out. I am reading these reviews and thinking it is just employees and family writing them because the food is really just plain. The pasta sauce is from a can. The pizza sauce is canned. Everthything is just below average. I think the reason people go here is because its cheap. THere is no other reason to go. The most tasteless boring food I have ever had.

I'm going middle of the road on this take-out order based on a better-than-bad buffalo chicken cheesesteak and an order of french fries. In actuality this place certainly deserves another 1/2 star and possibly more. I will definitely go again to check out the other items on the menu. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was a bit bland with the exception of the punchy buffalo sauce. The chicken wasn't as plentiful as I imagined based on the generous cheesesteak photo snapped by another reviewer. This ended up being a plus because it was plenty of food. The long roll was good and not entirely soaked in buffalo sauce, which is a common downfall of similar sandwiches. As a reference, I put this buffalo cheesesteak on par with Amedeo's Too, Paradise Pizza, or Greco Roman on Ridge in Norristown. I PREFER the buffalo chicken cheesesteaks offered by Dino's, just down the street in Bridgeport, or Olympic on Germantown Pike. The fries managed to stay relatively stiff through the car ride back to the office, thanks to that synthetic crunch that is present in so many fries nowadays. (I'll take synthetically stiff fries over gross, limp fries any day of the week.) The service was good. The order was accurate and they didn't give me a hard time splitting the order into two individual checks.

Disappointing is the best way to describe Little Sicily. Ordered a Pizza and wings. Wings were okay, not bad but not great. The real disappointment was the pizza, it had a pretty good amount of toppings, no complaints there, but as others have said, it was not done enough and soggy. I would pick up a slice and it would literally fall apart with the toppings falling off. UGH!! I ended up eating it with a knife and fork because the dough just fell apart it was so wet. Not a way to make a good pizza!!! I'll give them another shot though and if it is better I'll update this review.

et me state that I'd rather give Little Sicily a grade of 4.5/5,but there are no half-stars. The crust is phenomenal; light, perfectly cooked, holding the sauce and ingredients well. Crust is easily a 9.5 out of 10. The quality of the cheese is quite high, although I felt there was a tad too much for my taste. 8.5 / 10. The toppings were all very fresh and well presented, without being overpowering. The only negative I found was the sauce with the pepperoni stromboli - there was an overt flavor of oregano that was too bitter and overpowering. On the pizza I sampled the sauce was perfectly blended, and quite tasty, so they may use a different sauce, or maybe it just doesn't do as well concentrated. Overall, the small meat lover's pizza I had here would be about an 8.5/10 or a 9/10, so I recommend this place highly, especially when you consider the prices are low and the service is good.

ordered 4 pizza today for a party at home and it was so bad that we actually couldnot eat it. The pizza was so thin and soggy that you cant hold it and the topping tasted so bad. I moved recently to this area and picked that place through yelp reviews and was a huge disappointment Never go with pizza thats my advice

Looked for some new places to try in the area and this one seemed to be the love of the town. I knew I had to check it out. I ordered the garlic bread cheese steak and the cheese fries with bacon. The fries were probably better than some other places I have had but there was very little bacon. For the extra bump in price I would expect more bits than 1 whole piece of bacon. The garlic bread cheese steak was a little bit on the light side portion wise. I was a bit disappointed in the flavor overall. I barely can taste any garlic, I actually looked at the bun to see how they did it. Generally it was just a normal cheese steak. For the props this place got I was a bit underwhelmed, but a decent shop none the less. Not sure if I would go to Bridgeport pizza or little Sicily next time.

Little Sicily is the best pizza in Bridgeport. When I lived in King of Prussia I got Little Sicily every Friday night, and I also looked forward to getting it. Little Sicily also as a good eat in service. The waitresses are very nice and they get to know you and what you order easily. If you want pizza in King of Prussia. You must go here!

This place is a great neighborhood joint - I work around the corner and used to dine-in fairly often and now as my lunch crew has slowly died I usually just do pick up. The pizza and strombolis are great - they are better when in a group so you can order the whole pie or a huge stromboli to share. Chicken cheesesteaks are delish and they have awesome cherry peppers to put in them. I'm also a fan of the buffalo chicken sandwich...my friends rave about the pasta. When you dine in they give you a free mini-bag of potato chips! But my absolute favorite is the homemade sweetened iced tea...I always need to order it!

Best pizza in the borough. They always get the order right. Decent cheesesteaks for the suburbs. Though I've never eaten in the take out as always quick and the delivery times are even faster. Little sicily gets the job done.

I'm from originally from Jersey and we have good Pizza. My husband eats pizza all the time and is from Jersey as well. Lil Sic is the best pizza I have found in PA so far and I have lived here for years now. Franzones is a good contender, but honestly, the two aren't in competition b/c they are so different. Franzones has a sweet sauce and actually reminds me of Mac's Pizza in OC. Sometimes we get Lil Sic and sometimes we get Frazones. However, the people at Franzones are miserable, they're lucky they have good pizza, otherwise I wouldn't put up with the rudeness. They are nice and very friendly at Lil Sic.

Little Sicily is a very simple/typical pizza place in the suburbs. I go here once or twice a month for lunch with my friends from work and we all order the same thing every time. The pizza is pretty good and the service is quick. If I lived in the area I would probably be getting my delivery from here.

Absolutely love Lil Sicily. There pizza is great. Steak Stromboli is my favorite. Also can't pass on their penne alla vodka with chicken. Soooo good. We order almost every Friday, so worth it.

Mmmm...Pizza Fries....Hot fries covered with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese...Just the right thing to order when you've had a crappy week! When we order Little Sicily, we order white pizza. Their white pizza is just better than the other local places. The ricotta isn't overpowering, everything just blends nicely, and it's seasoned just right. Okay, now, I'm totally craving their fries.

  • I.E. C.

Little Sicily, you've been disappointing me lately, a little too consistently. The past three times I've taken home a pizza it hasn't been cooked long enough and the center is soggy and thin, allowing all the toppings to fall off when you grab a slice. I'm going to give you another try though, but making sure to tell you to brown the pizza a little bit more, next time I stop in.

We ordered delivery while staying in town. We ordered a small Sicilian pizza and baked penne. The delivery went smooth and the order was correct. The pizza was worse than a frozen one. The sauce was horrible and tasteless. The baked penne had ground meat and sausage in it that resembled the smell of dog food. Will never order from there again.

1- THEY HAVE THE BEST PLAIN PIZZA. (totally worth 5 stars, dude) OK, remember watching TMNT as a kid and seeing them chow down on NY style pizzas? Them big pizza slices with cheese sometimes running a bit? THIS IS THAT PIZZA. My goodness, it's awesome. You want toppings? Psh. Go away. You need only the large plain pizza. Heck, their personal/small plain pie is great, too! 2- THEY HAVE THE BEST ITALIAN HOAGIE. (also totally worth 5 stars) You ask for everything with a bit of mayo, some oil and vinegar, and of course some hot peppers. You get heaven wrapped up just for you. You bite into what you find to be pure gold: They used balsamic vinegar! Seriously. And you know what? I can't have an italian hoagie without balsamic vinegar now. I can never go back!! Oh, and they also fill it with tons of meat. I've never seen them skimp on my hoagies ever. So you can stop reading this review and just go get an italian hoagie + a large plain pie. ...Or you can read on for fun and some other information. Some thoughts: - Their wings are breaded, and their wing sauce isn't that great. I'm not really a particular fan of them. - Don't bother with toppings. Seriously. Just stick with the super plain cheese pizza. And with the Large size, you get the "12th pie free!" coupon. - They have other stuff on the menu but ehh. Who needs that. - They have water ice and is cheap and good!! They fill that cup to the brim!!! - Why are you ordering a salad? - Their cheese steaks aren't too bad at all. - Their roast beef club sandwiches are stuffed with meat and lettuce so you don't feel like you're being cheated out of food at all. And now for a little story: A couple of years ago, I had ordered a pizza pie from Little Sicily's. half olive half plain. Apparently someone else with the same moniker as me had ordered a plain. As I'm a local, I walk to pick up my pie and come home to find out that I didn't get my pizza. Before I could do anything, I get a phone call saying that my pie was the wrong one and they'd be sending up a delivery dude with my pie right now. 5 min pass. 10 min pass. I live within walking distance so I'm confused as to where it is. Call them to see what's up. Find out that they baked me a new pie and the guy was leaving at that moment. And I get my pie. I asked about the other and they said to keep it. Awesome. Free pie for me! I open it and what do I see? A plain pizza. It's not my pie. But well, I did just get me a free one so I wasn't going to complain. Just as I was about to eat it, the doorbell rings. The delivery guy is back with YET ANOTHER pie. Finally, it's the correct one. And the others? Yup, can keep them as well! SCORE! 2 extra free pies for the price of one! And that is why I am a loyal customer. Edit: OK. Really, after eating other types of pizzas, their plain cheese pie is seriously the best ever. It deserves all my stars.

I was disappointed. The pizza may be great but the spaghetti was mediocre. The gravy was watery, the meatballs came from a bag and the pasta was overcooked. The service was great and it is a quaint restaurant.

  • Eugene H.

Tried out this place for lunch and it was pretty good pizza for the price. I haven't found a place as good as Aljon's (in New Jersey), but the sauce here is pretty good. If they stepped up their crust, I may have found a contender.

Some of the best pizza in the area is in this shop. If you haven't enjoyed it, you need to get your act together. Perfect pizza!

In the 5 years I worked around the corner from this place I must have gone there for lunch 100 times. It was always good. It was one of the few places we would go to more than twice a month.

I used to go to Little Sicily about twice a month when waiting for my boyfriend's band to play at the Rib House across the street. When we broke up, I had no excuse to go down there and boy did I miss it! Now I live in Bridgeport, and get to eat it about once a week. There isn't a better slice of pizza in the area, and my current boyfriend's kids LOVE the chicken fingers and fries.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
